When you confirm your purchase, you are accepting that these terms and conditions form the basis of any contract between Saltdean Lido and yourself.

Prices displayed on the site are subject to change without notice.
Swim Admission Policy
Wave is committed to keeping your children safe and uses the CIMSPA guidelines for admissions to our swimming pools.
The Admissions Policy is for all swimmers’ safety, and we politely request that everyone abides by these.
Children under 8 years old: 1:2
We recommend non-swimmers and weak swimmers wear approved flotation devices.
The parent/guardian of children under 8 years old must be at least 16 years old (of the child’s parent) and if supervising under 8 years olds in the deep end of the main pool be able to complete the Competency Test below.
The parent/guardian must remain within close reach of the children they are responsible for.
Any swimmer wanting to swim in the deep end of the pool must be able to complete the Competency Test below.
All swimmers must abide by the Pool Rules and signage and follow any Lifeguard instructions.
Competency Test: • Jump into water of 1.5 metres or more, and • Swim 50 metre
Discounted disabled and carer rates are available. Documentary evidence may be required on the day of entry.
To obtain a discounted price, Students are required to show a valid Student ID.
There is no charge for children 0-2.
Lido Season Ticket Holders
Summer season tickets are valid for one season only and cover the period from May to September, exact dates as shown on website.
Season Tickets can only be used for applicable sessions as published on the Lido programme.
The season ticket is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Season tickets are not valid for any additional opening outside of the advertised timetable.
Season ticket holders are entitled to use of the lido only.
The customer purchasing the season ticket must be over the age of 18 years of age.
Season ticket holders MUST scan their ticket upon entering the facility.
Cancellations
Tickets bought online are non-refundable for any reason including but not limited to inclement weather. Lightning will cause closure of the Lido - no refunds will be issued but an alternative session can be booked.
Tickets are only transferable to an alternative date or time if you contact Saltdean Lido directly on 01273 069984 or email saltdeanlido@waveleisure.co.uk at least 48 hours before the date you originally booked to visit, which appears on your booking confirmation. We cannot guarantee that we can change the date of your visit, but we will make reasonable efforts to do so as long as you contact us more than 48 hours before your scheduled visit date.
Online Booking
Online tickets may not be purchased or used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold. We reserve the right to refuse entry to late arrivals.
Any discounts or offers online are available for limited quantities and periods only and shall not be available on bookings made by phone or in person.
Please bring along your booking reference number and/or email (either on a mobile device or printed out).
Prices are correct at time of going to press and are subject to change without notification.
All ticket prices (where applicable) include VAT at the current prevailing rate of 20%.
